Who’s here at 375 Hudson?
375 Hudson Street, originally known as the Saatchi & Saatchi building, was completed in 1987. The 18-story building is over 1.12 million square feet and features rotating lobby art exhibitions. In 2010, after a top-to-bottom “green” retro-fit, the building became the first existing office building in New York City to achieve LEED Gold certification for sustainability and energy efficiency. 375 Hudson Street our Publicis Group HQ and we share the building with the Turner Construction Company.

Why the Big Apple ?

When horse racing became popular in NYC, the prizes were called big apples. A 1970s ad campaign (of course) to attract tourists ended up giving the city its Big Apple moniker.

The farmstead owned by one Jonas Bronck from Sweden was called "Bronck's Land”. He was the first settler in the area and the river on his land was called "Bronck's River." Soon enough it was known as Bronx. Queens was established in 1683 as one of the original 12 counties of in the Province of New York, named after the English Queen and Portuguese Princess Catherine of Braganza. Named after the Dutch town of Breukelen in the Netherlands, Brooklyn is part of the second most populous country after Manhattan with just under 40,000 inhabitants per square mile.

The NY subway, opened in 1904, is the most extensive in the world with nearly 1,400 kilometres of track.

Lady Liberty was a gift from a gift from the French people, in honor of the alliance between the two countries during the American Revolution. It was so large that the the arm was sent a decade ahead. It was put on display in Philadelphia to raise funding so that the rest of the statue could be shipped across the Atlantic. The other 350 pieces finally arrived in 1885.

Underneath a buttonwood tree on Wall Street, the aptly-named Buttonwood Agreement defined the terms of trading and officially founded the New York Stock Exchange. The world's largest stock exchange started out with 24 dealers, 3 state bonds, the stocks of 2 banks, and - 1 tree.

Dutch settlers founded their Manhattan colony of New Amsterdam, in the 1620s, purchasing the island of $24 from the Lenape people. Governor Peter Stuyvesant was so unpopular with inhabitants, that the colony was renamed in honor of the Duke of York, who led the British mission to capture the island.

NYC is the chosen home of J-Lo, Madonna, Robert de Niro, Denzel Washington, Nicki Minaj, Al Pacino, Taylor Swift, Hugh Jackman, Tina Fey, Jay-Z and Beyoncé. We’ll stop there, they are so many, you’ll be falling over them. Or just go to Madame Tussaud’s in Times Square and pretend you did.

Museum Buffs
Fill your mind and soul.
Art or history, New York State's museums inform and inspire. Discover some of the greatest works of art ever created on display, from the Guggenheim to MoMA to the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Art. Visit the Corning Museum of Glass to see where young Thomas Edison had his first light bulbs hand-blown, explore the beauty of Native American and folk art at the Fenimore Art Museum, and see large-scale modern art created for the vast rooms of Dia:Beacon, a former box-printing factory.
Interactive exhibits reveal the science of fun at the Strong Museum of Play for playful while sculpture parks like Storm King Art Center and Griffis Sculpture Park exhibit art in nature. Nobody does human insight like a good comedian. So we’re all comedians - right ? Come and see some of New York’s finest and have a laugh. The Comedy Cellar is the greatest and most famous comedy club in America. It’s where today’s comedy luminaries got their big start: Chris Rock, Amy Schumer, Ali Wong, Dave Chappelle, Ray Romano, Colin Quinn, John Stewart, Trevor Noah... the list goes on. Shows are 90 minutes long!
Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Museum
Whatever the weather - wrap up for this one. But you will really, really feel like you’ve been in New York, as your IG will show… Unfortunately both closed by the time the working day is done. But the Staten Island Ferry is the bargain of the century with great views. Or head out for a 7pm river cruise with skyline, the Hudson and more.

Have your own Logan Roy moment! You can even book a doors-off chopper to dangle your legs out to get even cooler shots. Your kids will be so jealous. Nothing tops this.
